Women in Maritime Community

When things get busy and eventful, time flies. We have been busy bees during last month as well.

We are counting now 264 supporters and 42 members and 177 subscribers to our WoMaNe newsletter.

We have also someone else we can welcome aboard! Introducing Emma Mark as our newest member in the WoMaC – Women in Maritime Community team. Who she is, she can tell you better in her own words.

“I’ve spent my career championing digitalisation and transformation within the maritime industry, specialising in port call optimisation and efficiency. However, recently my commitment has led me to reflect and refocus on how I want to contribute to and stay in an industry that I have spent 15 years in.

With that in mind, I have combined my COO experience with a professional coaching certification. My goal is to support women at every level of the shipping industry, with a particular focus on unlocking their full potential and enabling them to become productive, creative and effective leaders.

Having spent so many years being an advocate for digital change, the remainder of my career will be spent championing positive change for women.

Joining WoMaC – Women in Maritime Community is the first of many steps to empower both existing and future women in our industry.”

About our #IAmRemarkable Workshop

On 26/03/2024 we have held our first workshop about women empowerment. We have had a great time together! If you couldn’t make it, no worries, you will get another chance! Keep an eye on our newsletter and Linkedin for the upcoming event.
